Registration for Bridal Discount Book's Bride of the Year 2012 opens April 1st 2012 until April 30th & voting commences May 1st 2012 until May 31st 2012.
There has most likely been nothing more on your mind over the last 12 months than the planning of your wedding. One day, one magical day has consumed every waking minute, even invaded the odd dream!
THE most wonderful day in your life has been & gone - it felt like it was over in the blink of an eye! Now what to do?
Bridal Discount Books " Bride Of The Year " competition gives you the opportunity to share it with the world, relive the magic of your day and have it last just that bit longer!
How to enter for Bride of the year 2012
If you are a bride & groom member of Bridal Discount Book and have your wedding between April 1st 2011 & April 1st 2012?
Be sure to pop back when registration opens to submit your entry between April 1st 2012 and midday April 30th 2012.
Simply fill in the form that will appear left of screen and include your most favourite photo taken on your wedding day to be voted on.
3 brides to receive the most votes will become our semi finalists and will have the opportunity to write in the story of their wedding day & supply more pictures.
Of the 3 semi finalists, 1 lucky brides story will be chosen as the winner and deemed Bridal Discount Books Bride of the Year 2012.
They will have their story feature on our Just Married page viewed by thousands of brides and receive all the major prizes.
2nd & 3rd runner up prizes will be also be allocated.
(Make sure you read & agree to the competitions Terms & Conditions first).
Photo criteria
Any photo is welcome - It may consist of the bride alone, bride & groom together or your whole bridal party. The only criteria is that it was taken on your wedding day.
Your chosen photo will be uploaded on Bridal Discount Books website along with your first name/s.
Make sure you choose wisely because once it's up it can't be changed!

Bride & Groom entry
We thank the businesses involved in 2011 for their commitment and generosity.
The following applies to registrations opening April 1st 2012
Please do not submit a competition entry form if you do not meet or agree with any of the following conditions.
- Entrants must have been a Bridal Discount Book member and married within the 12 months prior to registrations opening.
- You agree & understand that your registered photo will be online for public viewing and if necessary have consent for it to be reproduced on Bridal Discount Books website .
- ONE (1) entry only per married couple. Entry to be received by either a bride OR groom ONLY.
- A photo can not be changed once submitted so please choose wisely.
- Final registrations to be received by Midday, 30th April. Entry deadlines are firm and no late entries will be accepted.
- Voting commences May 1st until May 31st. 3 brides with the most votes will have an opportunity to submit their wedding day story & pics. In the event of a tie for 3rd both brides will be given equal opportunity.
- The winner will be chosen by Bridal Discount Book and officially given the title of "Bride of the Year" with your photo's & full wedding story featured on Bridal Discount Books Just Married page.
- I / We understand that each of the businesses involved are individuals and will conduct matters relating to this competition separately from BDB and one another.
- Once the competition has ended BDB plays no further part and any contact to and from the winner & business must be directed to the individuals concerned.
- Some prizes will require contact to the business involved to finalise sizing etc & could require additional time for special orders. Some prizes may be subject to availability and individual conditions deemed necessary by each business.
- I / we (the bride & groom) understand and agree to have the competition form forwarded onto the businesses involved in this competition and that they may make contact but the information submitted will go no further.
- Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or to be used in conjunction with any other offer. If at any time the winner chooses not to accept a prize from a business involved, the appropriate notice is to be given and all winnings in relation to that business are forfeit.
- Prizes will be sent to the winner direct from the business involved within 30 days of the Bride Of The Year being announced unless otherwise notified.
- Unless already specified, any cash prizes will be given in the form of a store voucher of your choice .
- These conditions are subject to change at any time. Any changes or additions will be made visible in bold text. Any changes occurring after an entries submission that you feel are not agreeable, please email Bridal Discount Book to inform us and we will remove your entry.
